How long have you been DJing?
We started DJing in 2011, playing music at house parties for friends and family. What started out as a simple hobby has grown into a deep passion.
What kind of music do you play?
We have an expansive library of music from various genres, but believe in the importance of playing songs that you and your guests will enjoy. We’ll work closely with you to create a unique playlist for your event, and make sure to include the little gems that only you and your company would recognize and appreciate.
Do you actually mix music with smooth transitions?
Yes, we do. Although it sounds like an odd question, we’re aware that some DJs claim they know how to mix, but ONLY know how to press the Stop and Play buttons. There’s no need to worry about that with us. Once your event begins, you can count on an evening of seamless transitions, great song selections, and continuous playback.
What equipment do you use?
We use a Traktor Pro DJ controller with the Traktor Pro software from Native Instruments, on a Macbook Pro to ensure stability and reliability. Our sound systems consist of Behringer and QSC speakers, and a Shure SM58 wireless microphone.
Do you do uplighting?
Yes, we can do uplighting. However, because each venue is unique, we use our best judgement when creating the right ambience for your event.
Can you play music during the ceremony?
Yes, we can provide ceremony music and sound as an add-on service. Some venues have speakers and microphones for use during the ceremony, but if your venue doesn’t, then we’ll provide it for you.
Can you also be our MC for the event?
Yes, we can act as your reception host. Whether you need us to make announcements, introduce speakers, run activities, or keep the event moving along, we can do all of that for you.
Can you help us run wedding games and activities?
Yes, we can. Each wedding is unique, and while some weddings include more dancing, others may prefer more games and activities. We can help you select certain games for your event that will keep your guests entertained.
How long do you play music at an event?
Typically, most events run around 3 to 6 hours long. We’ll confirm the event start and end times with you during the booking process, and provide our services for the entire duration of your event.
How long will it take you to set up and break down?
Set-up times will vary depending on the equipment we bring, which venue the event is held at, and what time exactly we are allowed to begin the process. We like to have at least 1 hour of set-up time, if not more. Break-down time also varies, but should be shorter than set-up time.
How do I book you?
To book or request a quote, just email us a description of your event. We’ll prepare a quote for the services you need and schedule a meeting or phone consultation. You can also contact us if you have any other questions.
